And then I bought the horse and brought it home.
1988 Ford Bronco, 351 Windsor with C6 auto transmission. Needs a laundry list of little things but drives well enough. A little more of a project than I was looking for at this time, but so little rust for a Utah truck it was hard to say no.
Also, this truck and I are the same age.

I've always wanted to own a vehicle the same age, or older than me. The closest I've come are two 91 models that were both built in early 1991. My Civic hatchback and my Galant VR4. I was born April of 1990 so I only need to go one year older.

One of the reasons I never pulled the trigger on an available ‘96 Impala was because a part of me wanted the ‘94 for that exact reason.

It is, I grew up riding in Dad’s ‘89 F-150 and I’ve been wanting one lately. Finding a clean one in South Dakota is near impossible though.
